Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun will co-star in the new historical drama

Actress Kim Tae Ri has been confirmed as the lead in the upcoming court pansori drama ‘Jeong-nyeon’, fulfilling the wishes of webtoon fans.

Based on a popular webtoon series, ‘Jeong-nyeon’ is set in the 1950s after the end of the Korean War, and shows the journey of a musically gifted girl.

Actress Kim Tae Ri plays Jeong Nyeon, a well-known pansori-genius actress from Mokpo, and Shin Ye Eun, who will go with her, is singing, She plays the role of Young Seo, a girl who excels in dancing and acting.

Since her character is Jeong Nyeon’s fierce rival, this episode will also see the rivalry between Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun.

In addition, veteran actresses Ra Mi Ran and Moon So Ri will be starring in the series, and ‘Jeong-nyeon’ is expected to be broadcast in 2024.
