In the prequel to MBC’s popular drama Chief Inspector, Lee Dong Hwi and Lee Je Hoon will be seen as two detectives who work together.
MBC drama Chief Inspector: The Beginning, a series scheduled to air in 2014, has officially begun filming after confirming Lee Dong Hwi and Lee Je Hoon as the main leads.
MBC’s Chief Inspector, which aired from 1971 to 1989, is a nationally popular drama with 880 episodes and a viewership rate of over 70%.
Now, “Chief Inspector: The Beginning” will be based in the 1950s and 60s as a prequel to the aforementioned iconic detective series.
“Chief Inspector: The Beginning” is the story of detective Park Young Han (Lee Je Hoon), who will form a team with three colleagues to break down the corrupt power and bring justice, and catch petty criminals.
Lee Je Hoon will portray Park Young Han (also known as Detective Park), a young South Korean detective who later became the country’s most beloved figure.
In “Chief Inspector: The Beginning,” Lee Dong Hwi will play Kim Sang Soon, a famous detective of Jeongnam Police Station known as “Crazy Dog.”
Because of this, fans have high hopes for the chemistry between two talented actors like Lee Je Hoon and Lee Dong Hwi.
