NewJeans captured a Guinness world record within a year of its debut

NewJeans has set a remarkable record with over 2 billion total listeners on Spotify.

According to Spotify, last month, NewJeans amassed a total of 2,018,6919 streams, just one year after their debut.

NewJeans reached 1 billion total Spotify streams on March 8th, setting the record for the fastest time by a K-pop artist in 219 days.

This achievement was officially recognized by the UK’s Guinness World Records. Amazingly, Less than five months later, the group reached another 2 billion total listens.

It can be said that the success of their second mini-album ‘Get Up’, which was released recently, contributed significantly to the success of the 2 billion streams they have now achieved.

That’s because just last month, the album’s 6 tracks had a combined total of over 200 million streams on Spotify, and future tracks promise more success.
