“The Idol” is the most talked-about top TV show of the year online

HBO’s ‘The Idol’ series, which ended earlier than scheduled after facing many critical reviews, remained one of the most highly engaged drama series online.

According to television statistics, ‘The Idol’ has successfully occupied the top spot in the 30-day online engagement score for TV shows since January 2022, beating out recent world-famous series such as ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘Wednesday’, which have captured the attention of international audiences.

In addition, ‘The Idol’ has impressively claimed the title of the number one television program in the Middle East, signaling its success with a global audience.

Much of this success is due to BLACKPINK member JENNIE’s K-Pop scene and her first modeling performance on an American television series, which was not only praised by the public during the episode, but also praised by various media outlets.
