The movie “Smugglers” was a huge hit as soon as it was released
The popular new movie “Smugglers” has made a strong start at the Korean box office.
According to the Korean Film Council, “Smugglers” surpassed one million moviegoers on July 29.
The film was released on July 26th and it took just 4 days to reach 1 million views.
“Smugglers” is now the second fastest Korean film to reach the 1 million mark in 2023, behind only “The Roundup: No Way Out” (“The Outlaws 3”) as the fastest film to reach the 1 million mark.
Set in the 1970s, the crime film “Smugglers” tells the story of deep-sea divers in a peaceful village.
This movie is directed by director Ryu Seung Wan, who directed the famous movies “Veteran” and “Escape from Mogadishu”, and Kim Hye Soo, Yum Jung Ah Jo In Sung Park Jung Min Go Min Si Starring Kim Jong Soo.
